Might as well post this here since it’s bound to draw all the rabid delusional types…what happened to the invasion of Iran? Bush is (finally!) gone yet we didn’t invade Iran…wtf?!? And what happened to outlawing abortion? I thought he was supposed to do that as well…wtf?!? 😉 As for the OP…yeah, fuck him. Good riddance and all that jazz. But I have my doubts that this will be the last Pit thread on him…or even the last time the OP mentions him. My guess is that Bush will be brought up for the duration of Obama’s presidency and probably beyond that…much in the same way that Clinton was brought up throughout Bush’s presidency. -XT ---

Yeah, I’d pretty much have to go with the only one really getting off the hook finally is Clinton…the right wing will now have a fresh target to go after. W will have to wait for a few decades until the next Republican president is elected before HE gets off the lefty front page… -XT ---

Sure, Bush is a fuckup, but worst President? I for one do not believe he is worse than, say, Andrew Jackson, or Warren Harding. They DID intend to permanently control the government; they were willing to give more and more power to Bush because they thought there would never be a Democratic President again. Considering that conservatives blamed every single Bush mistake - from the slightest misstep to 9/11 itself - on Clinton until about, oh, 2005, I hardly think this will be the last Bush pitting. Hundredth to last, _maybe_. Liberals are hardly more fair or objective than conservatives, they just claim to be. And this board is full of liberals. ---
