# One last time: the 1,000,000 post to MPSIMS

Place your bets! The 1,000,000 post will occur sometime Thursday, August 21. (And, yes, I know this is the 1,000,000 thread devoted to the subject!)

Who will be number 1,000,000? Will 1,000,000 appear on the SDMB front board page (hmm, no room) or will it roll back to 0 like a car odometer? Will the winner receive an all-inclusive trip to meet Cecil in Chicago? Will all of the mundane mysteries of the world will be solved? So many questions, so little time.

And this is my 1,000th post!!!

Congratulations!

I, too, believe it’ll happen around Thursday (or Friday my time). But I’m firm in my belief that Cecil will freeze the boards only to post the one-millionth himself, then unfreeze them and let everything continue the way it was.
