# One million words in 2023

I intend to write one million words in 2023. I’m doing this to have fun and to learn how to write.  
I have had trouble in the past with writing. Too much overthinking.  
This way I will just focus on sitting down and writing about three thousand words each day.  
I will let what I write each depend on what I am thinking about when I sit down.  
I did 3156 words today in eighty minutes.

When I hear hoofbeats, I know the zebras have arrived.

Don’t rule out horsicorns. They are more common than many people think.
