As I said last night, Joph, you’re a master. I’ll have to practice your lyrics before we do this again. And it sounds as though there will be an again, surprisingly enough. I’m looking forward to the pics as well, although Falc tells me the action shot UncleB got of me slurping down a Rolling Rock came out a little blurry. We’re all waiting with bated breath for Omni and Alpha to check back in. I’ve been half tempted to stay up until 3 just to catch Chin Ho and the gang, in tribute to Alpha’s impeccable taste in television programming. I’ll go on record now as saying I’ll make it to the next Chicago meeting, as long as everyone lets me know what’s going on, and I promise to fix the reply feature on my outgoing mail. And like I said last night, it says something that my biggest weekend since the year started consisted of me hanging out with 20 people I’d never met. It was a terrible amount of fun, guys, and thanks. I didn’t so much fall off the bed as I “transitioned from bed to floor in a less than graceful manner”. So there. As far as the time we left The Spot - I know I left at 12:30, because of the Great Beer Crisis. Seems that all of Springfield stops selling beer around midnight. Omni managed to find someone in the bar that knew of a place we could snag some booze, so off we went. Along the way, we found inertia and elelle wandering the streets. From that point on, suffice it to say that there was Pucker-passing, dancing, loud singing, geeks on laptops, bottles breaking, people fleeing to the “Quiet Room”, random items thrown out the screen-less windows, people (ok, person) making a less-than-graceful move to the floor, males kissing for paltry sums, and of course, the inevitable hotel security showing up to kick us out. A rousing success, I must say. I echo everyone else when I say a big thanks goes to Flyp (who can sing EXACTLY like the Barenaked Ladies)and has a very nice and clean apartment. ---

Not only did we get indoctrinated into the mid-70s world of felonious activity on an island paradise, Flyp and I were pleasantly surprised to see Arnold Schwarzenegger’s first feature length film on some late late TV movie. I looked it up on IMDB, it’s called [Hercules in New York](http://www.imdb.com/Title?0065832). Ahhnold is credited as “Arnold Strong”. This was seven years before “Pumping Iron”!
