# One simple (I hope) computer question

I’m running Windows XP Home edition and I’m using the latest Firefox browser.
My task bar has sudden repositioned itself from horizontal to vertical. I’m sure I did something but I don’t know what.
How do I restore it to its previously horizontal location?

Your Windows task bar? Just grab it and drag it where you want it to be.

To prevent further accidents of this type you can right-click on the taskbar and select **Lock the Taskbar**.

Thanks for the information; I just locked the bad boy in place.
