I just watched that video 4 times in a row in various incarnations. The last three times I watched it just for the music. Does that make me weird? ---

Okay, a moment’s googling turns up that it’s actually called maiyahi, and that’s not just a made-up word (which I’d originally assumed, what with the ‘hoo’ and ‘haha’ bits in the chorus). No word on who sings it though. So sad. ☹ Can anyone shed further light? ---

I actually bought that song on iTunes a couple of weeks ago. I love it! Of course, I hear the chorus (with dance motions) as Mario Three (Wave three fingers through the air) Mario Two (Wave two fingers through the air) Mario Cart (Make driving motions) Mario PARTY! (Hands at full extension, wave them like you just don’t care) ---
