What is one thing that you could add or change to your life that would make you personally happier on an every day basis. I don’t mean something out of your control like world peace or Putin out of Ukraine. Or something lofty and possibly unattainable like true love. Something relatively simple. For me my happiness quotient goes up every day I get to see the ocean. I’m here on the beach right now and I’m content. Now to figure out how to make this happen daily. ---

Having both my sons move within frequent visiting distance so I can be in their literal physical presence at least monthly. Currently one is a thousand miles away (and in a city with poor air connections so beastly expensive and awkward connections) and at least 1500 miles with slightly better airline connections but still out of my reach financially. Amtrak travel is to laugh. I usually see my grand children weekly~that’s ideal for children. I could get by with monthly for adult children. ---

A cure (or at least a treatment) for Crohn’s that would allow my daughter to live without an outrageously expensive medication which also trashes her immune system. ---

Living by the promenade of a small port city with short buildings and waking up every morning to stand in the balcony and receive wave after wave of refreshingly cold and brine-spiked air on my face. The fish market is within a walking distance and my apartment is right above the grocery store. I work from the same coffee shop every morning and there is a thirty-something-years-old barista who looks at me longer than my simple transactions require, but I never make a move - I merely subsist on the tension, the thought. This would certainly make me happy. Does this count as one thing? ---

Well, my husband and I split up 5 years ago and I hate being alone. I don’t know if I want him back or if my loneliness just makes me think I do. Living near the ocean would be awesome. If I could take my daily walk on a beach, that would be very sweet. ---

A bit TMI, but I really wish that the surgeon that did my vaginal reconstruction had gone for the hunk of flesh from my thing reconstruction thing instead of simply butting the 2 edges of my vagina together and stitching it up I know why he opted to do it that way, one surgical site less - I already was getting my ass removed and sewn up, having a wodge taken out of the inside of my thigh would have been uncomfortable for me, one more location that could pick up an infection, you know - the usual/ However, unless I use vaginal dialtors regularly, the canal shrinks down so sex with my husband is highly painful [immediately post op, the canal was roughly a large finger in diameter and my husband is much larger than that. [So we make dialator play part of foreplay and have to make sure to have plenty of lubricant.] Otherwise - perfect health for the both of us would be fantastic =) At 60, we can say categorically that getting old sucks!
