… until my not-entirely-voluntary hiatus. See, as I had posted last week, I’m getting a new job. And while the boost in pay is nice, and having health benefits is beyond nice, they are lacking in one thing, as far as I know. They don’t give their people net access. And since I’m moving on May 1st (no phone at new place) the odds are good that I’m going to have to wait until June to get my regular Dope fix. So I may be gone. Which sucks, as I was hoping to make a report on the SacDope fest (if it happens…) my 2000th post. Or 2100th, if I missed the 2000 mark. So 2 things now: 1- Who’s going to miss me? ``` and ``` 2- What should I do with my spare time until I get net access back? ---

You’re living in a college town. Use your spare time to do a vigorous search for internet cafes and libraries which provide internet access. Or take up homebrewing. Or get back into fighting. Train for June Crown! Heraldry? ---

Mmmm… homebrewing. That’s definitly part of the plan. Fighting crime would work, but considering where I live, I’m worried it would take all my time. Masturbation… well, I hate to brag… so I won’t. I’ve learned today that the odds are good I will have access, but it will be limited. Apparently they’re pretty strict about it. We’ll have to see how it goes. Maybe I can get my boss hooked on the Dope. That always seems to help the cause… ---

Well, it’s not voluntary, and it’s only temporary. I’ll still be checking my yahoo mail on a pretty regular basis… that’s one of the reasons I sent out the mass SacDope mailing. I keep hoping to get confirmation from people. So far, just Snooooooooopy, via e-mail. _sigh_ ---
