Yeah, if somebody checks me out and does not send a message, I’d pretty much assume that means they’re not interested.

True, in those cases. What I meant was a guy who has a profile that tells you nothing in conjunction with one photo (usually taken in the bathroom).

Things like: I like to laugh. On some (match?) that ask you to name 6 things important to you: “ha ha food, water, air”

When I was not having success at first, I took the following steps:

1. Asked some platonic female friends to review my account
2. had one of my friends take pictures of me specifically for the account (being camera-shy, I didn’t really have any good photographs.
3. a good profile pic is really key - especially these days with all the swiping

Also, it’s a good rule of thumb to never go negative. Only list your likes, only list what you are looking for in a partner, not what you don’t want in one.
