Has anyone had any experience with online interior designers like Modsy or Havenly or the like? I reeeeeeaaallly want a pretty house to live in but we’re on a bit of a budget, and the local designers seem to tend to cater to the larger, fancier projects in the area. I’ll take any stories, good or bad! ---

A family friend with no design sense just bought an entire living room as presented in a furniture showroom, so that’s a low-cost way of achieving interior design. ---

Well, maybe. My house has some room dimension challenges that are mostly not well served by your typical showroom, plus I have some family pieces I want to keep.
