This is an incredible bit of work - I can’t imagine how much work has gone into doing this:

Are there any “absolute must” games we should all play?

I’ve just discovered this and am still looking through the list - I am far from an expert in Flash games but there are quite a few Super Mario games there including Super Mario 63, also I noticed Pandemic and Pandemic II. Plus there are 87 golf games!

I think you had two types of online Flash game. You get the money makers - designed to get traffic to a website. And then you had the passion projects. They are all time wasters really. I was rather hoping that by posting this some people would look at the list and tell me which are the classics.

But even if not the online Flash gaming phenomenon is an interesting part of early Internet history which may or may not generate some discussion.

EDIT: also just noticed the Bejewelled series but I would hardly call those absolute musts…
