I’m browsing fedora and derby hats online, and most of them have a feather on the side. I don’t want one with a feather. Do people buy them and remove the feather or are there online hat websites that offer hats without the feather? ---

In my experience the feather is just tucked into the band, not glued or fastened in any way. I just throw it away. ---

You can buy hat bands separately to suit your style. Feather to your liking.
