Inspired by the most recent music recommendation thread, [Music Slump](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=398975), where I discovered [Pandora](http://www.pandora.com).

What are your favorite websites for discovering new music, learning more about the artists you really enjoy, or buying their music? I’ve rediscovered my passion for music in the past year and a half and have built up a not inconsiderable library in that time but mostly stumble about blindly, relying on recommendations from friends and acquaintances or just blind luck and while all of my favorite current artists have been found with that method, I’d like something more refined but, besides the aforementioned Pandora, the only other sites I’m familiar with are [CD Baby](http://www.cdbaby.com), [Allmusic](http://www.allmusic.com), and [MySpace Music](http://http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=music&MyToken=6a32719f-b3ea-48b0-ae89-3cca7ca117a5). Any other suggestions?
