I’m a little surprised it isn’t also being run in the Palm Beach, FL market. While Trump was in office, these “audience of one” ads were a favorite never-Trumper tactic, The Lincoln Project ran one shortly before January 6th, the narrative was “Pence is going to put the final nail in Trump’s coffin when he certifies the election for Biden”. It ran heavily on Fox and Friends in DC, IIRC. ---

Yeah, it doesn’t really make much sense to run in DC if the goal is to reach Republicans whose votes matter, as DC is very blue (to the point that [the map on Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_United_States_presidential_election_in_the_District_of_Columbia) only distinguishes between Biden/Harris 80% and Biden Harris 90%). Then again, for the same reasons, I suspect it may be easier to run it there, since it would be run by a local affiliate. And the Lincoln Project set the precedent. ---

Cynically speaking, if this group is following the [Lincoln project](https://www.businessinsider.com/aoc-lincoln-project-scam-territory-millions-raised-republican-voters-2020-11) their target audience isn’t so much Trump or dissatisfied Republicans, but instead Liberals who like seeing Trump taken down a notch and open their wallets to those who provide entertaining schadenfreuda for them to consume, thinking they are supporting the cause. From that point of view the DC area isn’t a bad place to put your ads.
