People who absolutely will come up with every possible product they can. I wonder if there are Osama decals out there you can paste to the bottom of your toilet bowl? You know one of the great oddities of being slightly dislexic and a fast reader is you generally read only the first few letters and then guess what the rest are. So I read this as “OSAMA HIDE your snake in the grass” which didn’t make any sense to me. ---

It’s kinda stupid. I was at the mall, and at the food court, Mama Lucia’s had a picture of Bin Laden with a rifle scope thingie painted on his head. It was just, I don’t know-lame? ---

I agree **Guin** , but I guess somebody’s buying the stuff. Or, maybe not. Just because it’s advertised doesn’t mean it’s moving. But then I think about all the Calvin peeing on [insert object of derision here] decals I see… ---

This reminds me of a truck I saw a couple of days after the attack. It had “Bin Laden will stand before the burning Bush!” I didn’t know whether to laugh or roll my eyes. ---

I heard this Jackyl song a couple days ago (you remember Jackyl, don’t you? Their big hit was a song with–I swear to God–a chain-saw solo, titled–and I am not making this up–“Lumberjackyl”) called “An Open Invitation to bin Laden”. The chorus went “I hate you, bin Laden!” over and over again. Actual line from thee song–“You crossed the line with your sandal in the grass”. No, really. ---

In fact, I’ve seen TWO Calvin-peeing-on-OBL decals. It’s in color, too! Calvin’s shirt is red and white, and his pants are blue. Shame Bill Watterston never gave licensing privilidge to C&H. All these yay-hoos are making money off a classic. DOWN WITH PIRACY OF C&H! -Soup ---
