I realize that it’s August and thus the season for silly news stories, but I was taken by [this story](http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/2212453.stm) about the guy who, after a 12-pint drinking binge, decided to break into the zoo, raid the ice cream stand, and then – this is the kicker – see if the lions liked ice cream. Me, I’d have a hard time remaining upright after six pints, let alone 12, but I would hope that should I ever get that drunk in the future I would know better than to get up close and personal with large sharp-toothed predators. Or maybe he was competing for the Darwin Awards? Better luck next time… ---

The article doesn’t say if the lions ate any ice cream!!! My guess is they would, sort of like house cats liking milk or cream. But I want to know for sure! ---

But the amount of ice cream depends greatly on whether they mean the zoo could sell the amount stolen for 1000 pounds, or if that was the price they paid to buy it in the first place. ---
