I thought I was buying vitamin D, which I’ve been taking for years. Turns out I bought ubiquinol. Same shape bottle, and same colour label. Wasn’t wearing my glasses. Any benefit to taking the ubiquinol? It was kind of expensive ($20). Any risks? What’s it for, anyway? ---

It is essentially similar to coenzyme Q10 and may have fairly modest skin or cardiovascular benefits. ---

I take 300mg of Ubiquinol every day, as prescribed by my kidney doctor. ---

I bought it to possibly help with migraines but it made me itch all over. It started gradually so I didn’t realise it was the cause but after a week or so I figured it out and was completely cured after missing two doses. ---

I don’t have any of those. Oh, well. If there’s no downside I may as well take it. Of course now I’ll have to get into Trader Joe’s and get my vitamin D.
