I can’t be arsed to wade through 14 pages of this, but juuuuuust in case nobody’s mentioned this yet: “buckeye” is local slang? :dubious: Seriously? **Opal** could have simply acknowledged something she was ignorant about, but noooooo, she had to go have a stomping fit about it. Sweetheart, “buckeye” is about as local as “oak”, “maple”, and “pine” are. Buckeye is the name of the tree and the nut. The name of the tree and nut is buckeye. This is extremely common knowledge in North America. Extremely. ---
