Heh. S’ok. I realize that sometimes I’m the only one that gets what I’m saying. It’s like having a disease, I swear. 😉 Anyhow, yeah. It kind of is a hate crime on a very small scale. What I was getting at, I think, is that religion being the root of the cause, even though it was just your little sign, is still vandalism the way that a desecrated church or synagogue would be. The tongue in cheek part was mostly over where we draw the line when it comes to the accusation and follow through. It might feel good to get back at them by ramping up like that (Og knows vengeance is the first thing on my mind when it comes to even small little injustices…) but for regular people who don’t make a lifelong habit out of screaming injustice and suing over every little hangnail, it takes a lot of work and effort. I think it’s neat that “hate crime” is not the first thing to cross your mind, in fact not even understanding how I got to that thought. It’s commendable to know that not everyone is so hyper sensitive. 🆒 ---

Every year my family does a HUGE hollowen haunted house, I mean HUGE. And every year the fundies across the street boards their windows up. I mean litteraly boards their windows up!! Their kids are home schooled, and during the 4 weeks the house is decorated the kids arent even allowed outside!! This year they got even more clever and put a lighted cross in their front yard. /sigh… ---

I’m just curious, did you actually see your neighbor vandalize the sign? Also, while I don’t agree with destruction of property Lovecraft is dull and also a bad writer so I suggest you look into getting more entertaining signs. ---
