I think a “gift idea” section might be kind’ve neat (depending on floor space). Like a guide for people buying gift–“Buying a gift for a fan of X? Consider Y and Z”. This helps them buy a gift, and maybe gets the fan introduced to something new. ---

I don’t buy comics but I often tag along with my brother when he visits his favorite local shop (we’re in our 40s but…) My favorite part about the store is the dog. I hang out with the dog while he browses. I think you need a shop dog 🙂 ---

Actually forbidden in our lease. But we will have shop exotic birds. No kidding. ---

Are there other comic book stores around the country you can split large orders with? If other owners are cooperative I would assume you could all maintain a large variety of slower moving product. You need those there to look like you have a wide variety of items even if they sell slowly. ---
