# Opening certain threads causing JavaScript errors

I can’t figure out why this could be, but opening certain threads is causing JavaScript errors that freeze my browser. I have FireFox on Win10. I just recently deleted updates because they were making all my games crash and my CD/DVD player to be unrecognized. But this was happening even with the updates.

The thread about Brock Turner causes instant freeze. Other threads take a little longer. Some aren’t a problem. I have no idea why some cause problems, and some don’t.

I have Script blockers that fixed the problem on another laptop, but they are not working on this laptop. Same OS, same browser, but different manufacturer.
