whenever I click on an email link in adobe acrobat (Std 8.0, Vista) it just uselessly takes me straight to an existing open firefox window rather than my default email prog outlook express. Hovering over the link it is in the form [mailto:x.y@r.com](mailto:x.y@r.com) which looks correct. I cant find any info on acrobat help on this and the firefox default for mailto: is set to outlook and works.

I cant believe there is not a simple answer, but even google is no help. The old Firefox window it opens to does not even have the email address in the address bar

it seems to work properly now when I go to “Advanced/document processing/create links from URLs” from acrobat menu. What is odd is why it opened up firefox before that. Oh well at least I can get it going
