Oprah is diva and attention whore, and is simply looking to stir up some shit for her own benefit.
The sales lady likely hesitated when Oprah asked to see the bag. (I probably would have, too. But not because of racism.) In Opraha’s mind, “This was RACISM by-golly, and the world will soon know what I went through!”
