Yeah, **Wilson** , you’re absolutely correct on that point. I mangled that sentence a tad. I stand corrected. And, I love [baseballreference.com](http://baseballreference.com). I think that site has been on my favorites list longer than any other. ---

The highest I could find for most teammates (highest number at 1 step) is that consummate team player, [Rickey Henderson](http://www.baseball-reference.com/oracle/linkability.cgi?n1=Rickey+Henderson) at 687. One of my personal favorites, but I doubt all 687 of those teammates would agree… [Mike Morgan](http://www.baseball-reference.com/oracle/linkability.cgi?n1=Mike+Morgan) is the second best I can find at 679. Are either of those two considering coming back next year? I can’t remember whose record Mike Morgan broke for playing for the most franchises - whoever that is may be up there as well. ---

Roberto Alomar has a rating of 4.033 and has played 15 years with 5 teams. Sandy Alomar Sr. has a rating of 3.271 and played 15 years with 7 teams. Sandy Alomar Jr, has a rating of 4.047 and has played 15 years with 4 teams. Jesse Orosco has a rating of 3.6xx and he has played for 23 years with a shitload of teams. Hank Bauer has a rating of 3.284 and only played with two teams over 14 years. Bob Feller has a 3.100 rating and played for twenty years with only one team. Sam Crawford has a 3.774 rating and played for 19years with two teams, but at the early part of the century. I think the key is that players who played in the 40’s and 50’s are easily linked to players from way back and to current. Plus, there were so few teams (16 or so) during this era, that a couple of trades and everyone in the league is linked. ---
