Well, normally, I’d just apply a small dollop of toothpaste, wet it and the brush, and brush. Sometimes, I’ll rinse the brush in **Listerine** either before or after. Flossing is always before. Rinsing with **Plax** comes after the flossing. Listerine rinse is the last thing, after brushing and rinsing with water. So, to sum up:[list=1][_]Floss[_]Rinse with **Plax** [_]Paste on brush[_]Wet brush[_]Brush (slowly and gently, brushing should take ~1-2 minutes)[_]Swish with waterSwish with **Listerine** [/list=1]It’s really quite simple. ---

Yet another wet, apply, wet, brush vote. I do none of the above. If I do not wet the toothbrush at any time. Nor do I wash my mouth out afterwards. it just never occurred to me. ---

I usually squeeze a glob of toothpaste directly into my mouth but I also wet the toothpaste after squeezing it onto a wet brush if I’m at someone else’s place. ---

It never even occured to me that people wet the toothpaste once it is on the brush. I always wet the toothbrush first, but I only do that to rinse off any dust or bugs or poopy molecules that may have floated out of the toilet and onto my brush. I also rinse with warm water, cause cold water hurts my teeth. After that, I use Listerine. I also make sure my toothbrush is clean before I put it back so I rinse it off in hot water, and splash Listerine over it to kill any germs. I hate when other people in the house leave crusty toothbrushes in the bathroom. Rinse the damn things off! When I lived with my roommates, I’d keep my toothbrush in my bedroom. I didn’t want it to lean over and touch their toothbrushes in the little cuppy thing. Yuck. Rose ---
