First let me apologize for adding to the excessive number of sex threads, but I am genuinely curious about this. I have not had intimate relations with a women in quite a long time and now that I am getting older any future partners are likely to be older themselves. Two of my female friends are older women who I am close enough to to ask rather intimate questions, but not this one. I asked Friend A (75 y.o.) is she was still able to get (ahem) moist. She said she has been on HRT for 20 years and she was delighted to find that she still does when she has her occasional liaison with a man who comes to town about once a month. I asked Friend B (46 y.o.) who is married essentially the same question. Even though she is pre-menopausal, she said that that she requires lubricant when having sex with her husband. My question is what happens when a man attempts to pleasure a woman with oral sex who does not have much or any natural lubrication. Would that be painful for the woman? Would one use a store bought lubricant in this case? Again, I apologize for my question but if I ever get to have sex again, I am the type that likes to pleasure the woman so I had to ask. ---

If you aint got no spit, you can laways pour on a little bit of water, it would help rinse out that old person little bit, too. I am talking about oral here, water aint really that good for penile penetration. ---

KY Jelly “personal lubricant” is tasteless and doesn’t really feel weird (I’ve tried it to convince my SO it’s safe). As long as you have enough spit in your mouth I can’t see why it’d be a problem. I don’t have any experience with “dry” women but wouldn’t they produce natural lubricant if you get them really turned on? ---

I have my own personal “sex kit” that I keep near my bed, in order to always be prepared for situations just like this. Generally, I just have generic lube (equivalent to K-Y Jelly) some condoms, and a battery-operated vibrator, with fresh batteries. But what **porcupine** said was germane; you don’t need lube for oral, just intercourse. On a side note, I have gone down on quite a few women older than myself, and generally found it to be very different from doing it for women my age or younger. (i.e., in their 20s) The older women have demonstrated a much broader range of responses; either they were really indifferent or they just went nuts. But if they’re not enjoying it, they don’t waste your time by pretending they DO. Unfortunately, the last older woman I ate out was a squirter., and didn’t warn me. The memory of this has prevented me from performing the act ever since. ---

Maybe I’m old fashioned, but I would be totally disgusted with a guy who kept a vibrator by his bed. I mean, those are really personal items and have been _places_ if you know what I mean. The first thought that would go through my head would be “who else has used this thing?” followed by “does he use it?” While not to say that him using it is a bad thing, it’s not necessarily good, and thinking that someone else used it would completely shut me down.
