Maybe I have too much time on my hands, but this being the christmas season and all, there are always oranges, tangerines and other citrus fruits around the house. It’s part of the holiday food here. Whatever. So I’m sitting around, fiddling with stuff and there’s some leftover orange peels and I remember something from childhood, so I check. Sure enough, if I press the peel near a flame, it sort of expands the flame sideways. Partly from preassure of course, but it looks like whatever is coming out of the orange is being burnt too. Pesticides? Natural causes? Government conspiracy. Or too much glögg for me? ---

Yep. Orange oil. Time to fill up the car’s tank with peels. 😃
