My guess - Ian has a family resemblance to Haley, and that’s why he seems familiar. In a few strips Tarquin will realise that they are related, at which time things will get very interesting for both of them. ---

Whoa, nice twist. [spoiler] Everyone had assumed that Tarquin’s last wife had been murdered by Tarquin (under “mysterious circumstances”) and that she had been forced into the marriage. From this strip, it looks like a genuinely loving relationship, and Tarquin had nothing to do with her death. [/spoiler] I didn’t see that coming. ---
