I actually felt sorry for her… a little bit. The may have been his best strip ever. So much told; so much resolved. Redcloak is one bad-ass dude. ---

Not that it was ever in doubt, but this pretty much guarantees that the MitD will execute Xykon’s fail-safe order, somewhere way down the line. Chekov’s Gun from early on, but this reinforces the inevitability of betrayal. ---
