Why does this strip come out in such fits and starts? For about a month or so, we get maybe one strip per week if we’re lucky, but I think there’s been like 4 in the last 8 days. ---

Aside from that, he’s a professional writer, OOTS isn’t his only project, he writes sourcebooks for various RPGs. It could be that during the recent slow period he was working on something else, with a deadline to make. Or maybe it was a period of writer’s block, where he had trouble thinking up jokes to keep the strip funny. It happens to even the very best writer. ---

Yes, I can see that \*neutralise poison \*is a spell. But why \*elf \*instead of _poison_. Is there some sort of pun there?
