At the same time, the Linear Guild, one of the major antagonists, has always been the opposite numbers of Elan, Haley and Roy plus some tacked on losers. ---

Zzt’dtri was always a member of the LG until Durkon snapped his neck. Plus, Thog has been left behind a number of times. Really, the revolving door for the LG has been the Belkar analog and the Durkon analog. ---

So, the only constant members of the Guild have been Nale and Sabine. And really, an argument could be made that Nale is much more of Roy’s opponent than Elan’s, despite the superficial similarities. ---

As long as we’re on the subject, Durkon Thundershield’s first two “evil opposites” were Hilgya Firehelm and Leeky Windstaff. So I assume that Malack’s never-revealed last name was something like Nightcloak. ---

Add in a healed Belkar(with lizard shrinkage rage) and a still melee competent Durkon and T should get smoked.
