Belkar’s comments to Mr Scruffy just smack of ironic foreshadowing: [spoiler]“Don’t worry pal. It’ll be OK. No reason to be scared. They’re just a bunch of low-level NPC warriors. They don’t matter at all.” “I’ll come and find you when this whole stupid gladiator thing is over. You and me to the end, remember?”[/spoiler] I can only assume Elan didn’t hear that, or he’d be preparing his funeral ode for Belkar right now. ---

**Agent Foxtrot** , you should check out the [Class and Level Geekery](http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131219) thread over on the GitP forums. We’ve got nothing on that thread. And this update was well worth it for the laughs. Bugsby’s Cat-Retrieving Hand or the semicolon joke either one would’ve been enough to justify it, and then as a bonus we have Belkar and V very carefully not knowing who each other are. ---
