I assume they’ll continue to switch the ring back and forth between them, so Lien will have to endure the cold while O-Chul has the ring, but, you know, Paladin. ---

They’re both wearing items that protect against the cold, though Lien’s ring **is** that item. Still, it’s only for a few moments. She should be okay once she gets it back on. Goddamnit, this thread has more ninjas than a 1980s action film. ---

A couple of comics ago, they covered that they both have magic items that protect against the cold. Being immersed in freezing water is probably pushing the limits of those items, but they should still mitigate it enough to be survivable short-term (i.e., long enough for the yrthak-rider to lose interest). EDIT: Yeah, **Johnny** , our ninjitsu is getting seriously diluted. At this rate, a C-list action hero could defeat all of us. ---
