Organ Donation. Yes or no?

OK fine. I was just trying to express that I think organ donation is a good thing and its worth stacking the deck to promote it.

Thats a matter of opinion.

Once again a matter of opinion.

It is a greater burden and it seems clear to me that the South Dakota waiting period is designed to increase the effect of that burden. We’ll see if its constitutional.

You are assuming nothing but evil motives to the pro-life movement. Probably a hard position to defend.

Ooops sorry.

That makes perfect sense to me.

Although of course, you wouldn’t be, because…you know…you’d be dead?

For-profit organ donation isn’t something I support either, though I suppose there might be some model possible in which it could work. I really don’t know - I never thought about it!

It’s coached in different words, but I’ve seen several locations where you’d get “compensated for your troubles” when donating eggs. The ones I’ve seen were all for private-practice clinics, therefore all-private, all-billable procedures (the countries were Spain, Italy and the US). There is a distinction which I consider important, in this case: the donation is not for a transplant and it is for an elective procedure.
