To answer the implied question, the origin of the “slapstick” column was that it was written by **dropzone**. Good job; are you planning on doing any more? ---

All of it, weekly. It’s a dirty job, etc. (Truth be told, Mike, I had to check around to see if it was still on. I had antenna problems so I couldn’t tune in its station and, being an A/V professional, I didn’t bother fixing it for a couple years. Okay, since truth is “in” this week, I still haven’t fixed the antenna. I just put an antenna amp inline so I can get Channel 23 well enough to watch “Twilight Zone.” Canal 66 is still pretty iffy.) John, that is very interesting and supports my belief that some parts of popular culture probably go back to Neanderthals. Thank your wife for me.
