# Original Sin 2-Worth it?

It was on sale but I missed my shot. Is it a decent game nonetheless? Someone recommended it as a good RPG?

Have you played the first Divinity: Original Sin? Personally, I’d suggest buying that one and playing it first. There isn’t a quantum leap in different gameplay (in my opinion), so if you like the first one you’ll probably like the second one, too.

My two cents: I liked the first one, but I found the gimmick started wearing a bit thin in the second one. I know some people found the story amazing in the second game, but I thought it was decent and nothing mind-blowing.

My puppy chewed up the disk for the second game and it didn’t bother me at all.

I never played the first, but played the shit out of the second. It’s a good time, and great playing co-op.

I have not but I will check it out. I don’t like jumped to sequels without good reasons anyway.

Just to clarify: you don’t need to play the first game to understand the plot of the second game (as Kron alluded to). The stories are more or less separate.
