# Original Spree candy is burning the shit out of my mouth

Normally I’d be grateful to get shit out of my mouth.🙂

Er moving on damn man this candy is painful! I can eat like 1/4 of a roll and for days I can’t taste normally and my tongue hurts from the acid burns, but I keep going back because I’m a damn candy junkie:rolleyes:

This is the worst I’ve ever experienced, and funny enough consulting a chart I found Spree is listed as the least acidic candy around, far more acidic candy has never done this to my mouth. This has been on many occasions now, everytime a chemical burn of my tongue from the acid.:smack: Who is eating these aside from candy junkie masochists like myself?

Sweet Tarts always make my mouth sore, but I never associated that with the acidic content. I just figured that I was sandblasting my tongue.

Doesn’t stop me from eating the addictive little beggars, though!
