Try the simple thing first. Print statements never _hurt_ debugging. (Corollary: If print statements _do_ hurt debugging, you’ve learned something very important.) If you’re doing too much, there’s something you’ve missed. Learn _their_ way of doing things first. _Then_ try to improve it. Copies are cheap. Time and ulcers are expensive. ---

When faced with multiple tasks, do the worst first, because dreading it is ofttimes worse than doing it. And, when all else fails, wax the rails. That one came from running an Emba folding gluer. ---
