First I want to be clear that the underlying rationale for this movement have shifted on this debate from Obama was born in kenya to Obama was born in Hawaii at a time when Hawaii was not a state to Obama’s mom didn’t meet the residency requirement to confer citizenship to her son and now stating that because Obama’s father was not a citizen, Obama was not natural born. The argument being presented by Mario Appuzza is deeply flawed and is based on a definition of natural born citizen that was not commonly accepted at the time of the writing of the constitution or any time thereafter. It was devised after the fact to include every situation to date besides Obama. The question of natural born was discussed among constitutional scholars way back when Mitt Romney’s dad was running for President and even though he was not born in America, he was born to two citizens so he (as well as McCain later on), would be natural born citizens. Basically, the law is that anyone that does not have to be naturalized to become a citizen is a natural born citizen as long as they are not the children of diplomats or the children of foreign invaders. ---

John Jay was the one who [originally proposed](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural-born-citizen_clause_of_the_U.S._Constitution#Constitutional_Convention) the “natural born citizen” language for eligibility for the presidency. ---

The motion, as written, cited no controlling authority. The lawyer basically wrote a letter to the judge saying ‘he’s the president he doesn’t have to show up.’ This is not acceptable. The lawyer will have his ass burnt and will write a much better letter to the judge. ---

Now, I may be wrong, as I am the furthest thing from a lawyer, but wouldn’t a judge know that a sitting president can’t be compelled via subpoena? Or am I incorrect on that? ---

This is unliving proof that zombies do exist. If Taitz is not taken as an undead, properly subdued (I am not certain about D&D 3.5 rules, but someone here can help) and arraigned, then there IS NO JUSTICE! \ In other words, this seems unreal to me. I just came from the ‘Order of the Stick’ thread. THAT seems more real to me than this.
