Are you really this dense, Bricker? We all told you we knew it wasn’t pedophilia. We described it as pedophilia as a way of poking fun at it. You can’t claim you didn’t know that. You just decided to ignore it to be a douchebag. You popped into a thread and, though you agreed entirely with the gist of a post, you instead focused on the one tiny part you disagreed with. Barring someone with a mental disorder, that’s being a douchebag. People called you out on your douchebaggery, and you doubled down. So, guess what? When you act like a douchebag in the pit, people attack you. It no longer matters if you have any point. As long as you are still acting like a douchebag, you will be treated poorly. If you don’t like it, don’t be a fucking douchebag. And, yes, now I’m bumping this thread to remind you, lest you forget, that doing what you did will cause this reaction, and that only you can prevent it by not being a pedantic douchebag. ---

The whole idea of cosmetic circumcision of infants is messed up and should be abolished. If these kids want to grow up and make a covenant with God by cutting off parts of their penis while knowing the risks I wouldn’t object. But no, God commanded it to be in eight days, else the kids be cut off from their people. Even though circumcision is supposed to represent a change in the heart as well as the flesh. Parents can make the decision for what’s in the baby’s heart? Religion offers the world such transcendental moral wisdom. And **Bricker** , man, the Catholic sex scandals must’ve been hell for you. People are still making pedo priest jokes. Does that infuriate you, or did you learn to let that stuff slide? ---

Perversely[sup]\*[/sup] enough, the pedo references to Catholic priests are at least based in a horrible but very real set of historical circumstances. I feel like it’s unjustified to paint any given priest with that label, but the Church as an institution earned some of that scorn. But that’s not true for _mohels_. The sniggering allusions here are without justification of any kind, except the apparent belief if you oppose anyone, then any accusation about them is fair game, and any defense of them constitutes defense of anything they’ve ever done. - No pun intended. ---
