Loved Mo’Nique’s acceptance speech. Colin Firth–yay. Now I need to see The Education. So many films to see… Haven’t even managed to see Up in the Air yet. All I’ve seen is Avatar, Star Trek and Up. (I don’t go to movies much). ---

Remember the scene in Chaplin when he returned to get his lifetime achievement award? That was amazing, and I like to think real life was just like that. And, what would it be like nowadays? Offscreen. ---

The costumer designer needs someone to pick out better clothes. Nice tribute to those who don’t do “costumes”, though. And Charlize has 2 roses stuck to her tits. ---

Every year something reminds me of the dichotomy between the audience in the theater and the audience at home. I thought the French producer of “Logorama” was funny as hell. The audience in the theater let out a collective yawn. ---
