# Oscar Winners Reunion Photo

Can someone point me to a list of the actors and actresses who were on stage for the reunion of past Oscar winners during last night’s telecast?

I know Luise Rainer was the oldest of the group, but who was the youngest?

(I was a little disappointed that they hadn’t brought Anna Paquin in for the photo. She definitely would have been the youngest of the group and, alphabetically, I think she might have been sitting right next to Luise Rainer.)

When they did a similar Parade for the 1997 Oscars (held in March 1998), _Entertainment Weekly_ had a picture in their post-Oscar issue of the entire group together, along with, IIRC, a rundown of all the participants as well as notable no-shows.

They may do the same thing this year–keep an eye on your newsstands!

Oh, and if the same thing holds true as with the 1997 collection, everybody (all acting winners, plus child stars) was invited, so those who didn’t appear chose not to do so for various reasons (other commitments, travel problems–especially with the war, etc.)

Hmm. That’s another interesting trivia quesiton in itself:

Currently, how many living Oscar winners are there in the acting categories?

I had read that Elizabeth Taylor was supposed to be there. Anyone know if this is true, and why she didn’t appear?

**ECJones29** –the hardest working Oscar junkie on the SDMB–gives the list of living Oscar winners who didn’t show up for the reunion photo last night in this [post](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?&postid=3181276#post3181276).

The youngest of the bunch that did show up was, I believe, Hilary Swank, born on July 30, 1974. Was Adrien Brody (born on April 14, 1973) the next youngest?
