I hate when they give long montages and let there be long speeches and long clips for presentations at the beginning of the show and then at the end they speed read nominees’ names because SURPRISE SURPRISE they are over time.
Every year it’s the same on this and all award shows.

I’m hoping the winner for best actor or actress takes the Oscar, leans into the mic, says “Thanks, bye,” turns around, starts to walk off stage, and, with his or her back to the crowd, raises their fist in the air and screams “Here I come Lake Havasu!”

Am I going to be in the minority when I say that was a horrible performance? She was pitchy from the beginning. Lots of power but she missed half the notes. It will win because the recorded version was great.
