# Ostriches escape quarantine in Metro Manila

Stricter quarantine measures were reimposed the other day in Metro Manila and adjacent provinces, after health care professionals sounded the alarm about the imminent collapse of the health care system. It didn’t take long for a couple of ostriches to attempt to flee quarantine:

After doing an African safari, Ostriches were one of the most remarkable animals. Everything else was about the size I expected, but ostriches were just huge!!! I thought I’d seen some in zoos before, but in retrospect, I think I’d just seen emus because Ostriches were huger!
