I don’t know if this is in the right place (maybe it should be in the Pit or IMHO), or if it’s even kosher to post a thread like this anywhere on the SDMB, so the mods will have to make the ultimate decision. At any rate, what internet message boards do you frequent (or have you frequented in the past) that are just teeming with unconscionable fucking douches right out of the gate? In other words, I guess, which boards are the most antagonistic to n00bs? My vote (though I’m admittedly not a very seasoned message board user) is [the forums over at roadfood.com](http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/). There are some good people on there, granted, but by far, my experience has been that the boards are populated by terminally curmudgeonly ass tampons. Others? ---

I’d put Free Republic up there, not for its right-leaning stance, but the douche-like way that it’s presented and discussed. A whole lot of ugly over there - racism, paranoia, you name it. ---

What about imdb? Well they’re not assholes so much as they’re not bright. Youtube commenters–when it’s not a video with a super huge amount of hits–can be surprisingly nice. ---

Equal time: one of the yings to Free Republic’s Yang is probably the Assata Shakur Forums. Far left wing politics, and racism of the “kill whitey” variety. That’s pretty much true of any of the news channels though that allow “reader blogs” on the stories, though. I was amazed to discover that the newborn bobcats at our local zoo were caused because of Obamacare trying to take away our money and give it to illegal aliens – I’d have probably made some unfounded assumption like bobcat sex. ---
