No, I was describing what the trainers say. So the people in the thread saying that the left just wants ‘equality’ are wrong. Equity involves mandating unequal treatment of some until there is no more inequity.
Equality= Equal opportunity, equal treatment under the law.
Equity = Equal outcome, on the assumption that outcomes would always be equal if there weren’t dastardly forces at play causing inequity, and unequal treatment under the law in order to correct the ‘inequity’.
This I agree with completely.
