I’m a lot better now since I managed to walk away with my life and most of my sanity about 8 years ago. My father is evil though … Trust me that wasn’t the worst thing he ever did to me _sigh_

They’re fun! Once my friend Jessica and I freaked out another friend of ours using a Ouija board. This was back in, like, 9th grade, though.

I don’t think you can contact spirits with them, though. Besides, even if you could, why would you WANT to? There’s no way you’d ever PROVE it, and it’s not like you’re very likely to get anyone you know, considering the world’s population and all that.

I never even got any decent ideomotor effects… the planchette just sat there.

My mother and sister could get it to work, but it spelled out stuff like “bgywq8zj”.  
Clearly, they were getting messages from Mr. Mxypltk in the 5th dimension. 🙂
