Our Doberman, Lilith, was diagnosed over a year ago with osteosarcoma. So I’ve known for a long time that I’d be writing this post, but I never was able to come up with the words to tell you about her. Remember that wonderful pet you once had, who set the standard that all future pets will be measured against? Well, that’s what she was like. We spoiled her always, but since we found out she was sick, we spoiled her ridiculous. She made great strides towards her lifelong goal of eating some of everything in the world. She slept in the center of the bed. Ruled the household with an iron paw. Now the hole in our lives is so big. This is unthinkably hard. Anyway. Some pictures. It’s sucks when anyone loses their fury little pal. But it’s especially bad when someone like **DB** loses their friend. She’s such a kind lady. My sympathies to you and your family. ---

I’m sorry for your loss, but I’m happy you had her for a year after her diagnosis of osteosarcoma. I’m glad you were able to give her one great year of extra spoiling, and that she gave you so much joy. ---

Condolences. You were lucky to have her & have a year to spoil her even more. We had one week to spoil OBL between diagnosis & his death. I’m sure she loved the extra spoiling & love. ---
