You clearly are ignorant that in the US color impaired pilots CAN be licensed to fly, a simple google will reveal not only the regs and requirements involved but detailed information on how a colorblind pilot can navigate the bureaucracy involved. Yes, pilots DO fly with questionable electrical systems. Pilots do a LOT of things they probably shouldn’t, definitely shouldn’t, are sometimes foolish, and sometimes stupid. You know why? It’s because they’re human beings and prone to all the faults and failings of human beings. They aren’t paragons of perfection and virtue. There’s even a regular column in a long-running aviation magazine that is nothing BUT pilots writing about what they shouldn’t have done or how they screwed up. I came here to consider the pitting, as I’ve had a couple rounds with Ramira that left me :dubious:? She’s annoyed me a bit, but not enough for a pit post, IMO, and the OP’s pitting is a bit [why no shrug emoticon?]. But, this thread has revealed some pretty shitty people that I never really noticed before. I also sometimes changed names and _some_ details because the other people involved have not been asked if they want to have their participation in some discussed events posted on the internet. I am here for entertainment, and for relating events in a manner I hope others find entertaining.
