I can understand PAB throwing around “Marxist” and “communist” as scare words, because when he was a kid those were the scariest things ever. But now the MAGA nitwits like MTG are using it, not knowing a fucking thing about it. I wish they would state what exactly is the most Marxist thing Biden has ever done. It should be easy- in the short time Biden has been in control the whole country has been destroyed somehow. ---

I also see complaints that “Gen Z wants socialism - didn’t they learn anything from the Soviet Union?”. Largely because the word “socialism” is way more associated with “60-something uncle ranting about why we can’t have universal health care” than “the second S in USSR”. ---

There’s nothing about this tactic. If you call them out on their bullshit they’ll just say people on the left call Republicans and other conservatives “Nazis” and “fascists” all the time so it’s fair game. ---

My sister is waaay to the right of me. My brother is a bit to my left. When my sister wanted to insult my brother’s views, she called him a Socialist. He replied that he was actually more of a Marxist. ---
